Stay-at-Home Mom Activities for 18-Month-Old

Oh, those mobile toddlers! They keep us on our toes. This is the circular stage of motherhood. We follow our children around in circles all day straightening up the messes they leave behind. Hopefully teaching them to clean up with our help! But, stay-at-home mom activities for an 18-month-old can be more fun than that.

In fact, this age group is adventurous, curious and eager to learn. I created each of these activities and kept them in gallon sized Ziploc bags. We took them out many days in a row to work on the skills they each teach.

Stay-at-Home Mom activities to do with 18-month-olds involve learning developmental skills, developing boundaries, and growing a close mother-child bond.

Learning one to one correspondence

Masking tape fine motor work

Build with photo blocks

Make a set of jumbo building blocks

Explore shapes with sand or use kinetic sand (Amazon link)

Make a sensory walk with this versatile idea.
