Hey there!

My name is Jaimi, and I am a mom who loves to encourage moms in the season of raising children, making a home, and staying focused on the end goals of motherhood. I am the mom of four, including a set of twins. I am also a military wife, writer and “professional” playdate planner. We have to meet mom friends somehow, right?!

I studied early childhood education and teaching in college, so I was able to study a lot about child psychology, family dynamics and what research shows about those two factors in the life of children. I decided to channel that background and the feeling like I could really help moms who were just trying to survive at home caring for their families.

The stay at home mom survival guide is my little ministry. It is a resource for mothers, parents, caregivers and teachers.

Tips and Benefits of Finding Your “Mom Tribe”

My 19 month old daughter and I wandered down to our local library the other day so she could pick out books that featured Elmo on the cover (her cute new obsession). When we arrived, I noticed a "Baby Story Time" taking place in the kids' section - mamas and their new little babies all in a...

Motherhood is this great refiner's fire. Nothing gets you reevaluating everything about yourself, your life, your goals, and your time management quite like motherhood. The more time goes on, and the more children you have, the better mother it would seem you'd become, because you continue to go...

Road Trip Tip: Duct Tape Cleaning Hack

I have been on quite a few road trips with my kids-some alone when my husband had to be away, and some with the car filled to the brim like when we moved from the East coast of the US to the West coast. All of these times traveling with kids taught me a lot of shortcuts or hacks for keeping the...
