Being a Stay-at-Home Mom Matters

Parenting choices matter in the lives of our children and being home as a SAHM is beneficial for mom and child. It benefits parenting. This blog is for YOU, the stay-at-home-mom, who may need encouragement and support to find the joy in staying home with your children every day. Being a stay-at-home mom is a parenting choice that puts you in the prime spot to know your child better than anyone.
This will help your parenting as your child grows.
I will not only share the beautiful ‘fluffy stuff’ that is nice to hear such as, “You are doing great work,” “Your children will look up to you and your sacrifice for them forever,” “What would your husband do without you,” but the real concrete homemaking tips, parenting resources and activities for kids to help you fill up any dull, boring moments when you are wondering what to do with your children all day, or wondering if it all matters.

I too have days where I go through my mind searching for what ideas to try next.  It can feel redundant and exhausting being a stay-at-home mom every day. It can be tough to feel like we are actually crossing things off the to do list. Remember, you are #1 in your child’s world. You would never tell your child that he/she is ‘boring’, so keep an eye on this blog so that you never have to wonder what to do next, again. This life choice/mission can be vibrant, exciting, and fruitful for you and your children.

God needs you where you are doing what you do, because motherhood is a calling.
Let us try to stay positive, keep working hard, and connect here to help each other do the best we can each day as stay-at-home moms…or at least make tomorrow better than today!

Being a stay-at-home mom does matter.
