Your children are blessed to have you home! I think we all grow and learn a lot from our parents' experiences-they are valuable even when we choose differently.

My mom started to work when I was 12 years old and I hated it! From that day on, I knew I would stay at home with my kids and do all the fun things all other moms did. Besides working, my parents were not very involved in our hobbies. I knew I would do better with my kids.

That is important for us to remember, Jennifer! Just as when the kids are babies, when they grow there are so many milestones that we can be present for. My mom always tells me that she thinks it is just as important for a mom to be home with teens as with toddlers-different needs, but still in need of a strong parental relationship. Thanks for bringing up how valuable that can be!
