Free printable 31 scriptures to pray away fear.

{Post by Lauren}

With the start of a New Year I always like to look back and reflect. What did I learn last year? How did I grow? What can I do better moving forward? That being said, I’ve never been a big fan of New Year’s Resolutions. I guess I was just never good at keeping them. It also feels somewhat corny and disingenuous to me. So the past few years I’ve done a something different things to start the New Year off right.

First, I did a Proverbs Challenge. Did you know there are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs? That is one proverb for every day of the month.

I started off January by reading a proverb a day. There is so much wisdom in there and it still applies to our life today even though it was written hundreds of years ago.

Last year I decided to pray the different names of God in January. I created a calendar with a different name of God and scripture reference for each day. It was wonderful focusing on God instead of myself in the New Year.

This year I want to do something like this again. Instead of focusing on all the things I am deficient at (there are quite a few!) and trying to transform myself, I am seeking God’s help to transform my mind.

Over the years I’ve struggled with fear. It’s always there in the back of my mind and I don’t like it! I want to head into 2018 with a new sense of freedom and courage.

So I created a free printable document with 31 scriptures to pray. They all deal with overcoming fear and trusting God to be our Rock and strength.

Download it here: 31 Days of Do Not Fear Scriptures

I will be praying one for each day. Will you join me? I hope you find it helpful! Let’s move into 2018 with a greater sense of purpose and with God’s help the giant of fear must fall.
